Fashion Stylist/Sales Lead - Courtenay

GARDENWORKS is British Columbia’s largest independently owned garden centre company with 10 locations across Vancouver’s lower mainland, Vancouver Island, and South Okanagan.

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Fashion Stylist to join our team and celebrate our brand! The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the fashion industry along with exceptional customer service skills. You will be responsible for providing personalized styling advice, assisting customers in selecting products, and ensuring an outstanding shopping experience.

How you will contribute:

• Building and fostering lasting relationships with our customers by providing a personalized experience, including outreach regarding in-store events, merchandise requests, & sales follow-up
• Leading & motivating a team of sales professionals in our fashion department to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service
• Stay updated on current fashion trends and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations
• Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, keeping merchandise stocked and organized with day-to-day upkeep of visual displays
• Regular communication with our GARDENWORKS Fashion Buyer, ensuring the Courtenay store is well represented in the buying decisions

Is this you?

• Understanding the importance of inspiring lifelong customers by creating an exceptional service experience
• 2+ years of retail clothing and footwear experience
• A genuine passion for the fashion industry
• Strong verbal communication skills and active listening to effectively deliver on our customer needs
• Proven ability to drive results in a selling role, exceeding individual and store goals
• A positive attitude, you love working & collaborating within a team environment
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends, and holidays as seasonal peaks require, including store opening and closing responsibilities

Job type: Full time 40 hours per week / Salary: $22.00 – 25.00/hr
