    GARDENWORKS Premium Lawn Food 14-4-8
    GARDENWORKS Premium Lawn Food 14-4-8
    • The perfect early season lawn fertilizer that will prepare your lawn for the onset of spring growth.
    • Use this fine product as part of a complete GARDENWORKS lawn care program.
    • A thick, healthy lawn is easier to maintain & will discourage weed & moss growth.

    DIRECTIONS

    • Apply GARDENWORKS Premium LAWN FOOD 14-4-8 starting in mid-April for best results.
    • Apply to an established lawn at a rate of 2.5 - 3kg per 100m2
    • Measure the area of your lawn. (Area = length x width.)
    • Using 2.5kg/100m2  (or 5lb per 1,075 ft2) fill your fertilizer spreader with the required amount of product. So, if your lawn area is 200m2, use approximately 1/2 of this bag of fertilizer. (Apply carefully - under apply rather than over apply. You can always apply more later.)
    • Distribute the fertilizer evenly over the area to be fertilized. Apply in one direction using half of the required amount. Apply the 2nd half in a direction at right angles to the first half. This provides more a even coverage of fertilizer over your lawn. Close spreader when stopping or turning.
    • Water in thoroughly for at least 20 minutes.
    • A lawn should be irrigated when required and permitted to ensure that the grass roots are moistened to a depth of approximately 10cm.  This will vary based upon weather and soil, but is a good general rule, especially if the irrigation commences prior to heat and drought conditions.
